FIRSTCARD makes all necessary arrangements for the switching/settlement of transactions through the processing arm of the ATM network. This includes registration and access to regional, national and international ATM networks, all major credit cards and electronic benefits (EBT) cards. FIRSTCARD monitors the status of your ATM 24 hours a day.

The mechanics of the transactions are as follows:

a. The business stocks and replenishes the ATM with its own cash.
b. The customer swipes their card, enters their pin number and the amount of cash they’d like to withdraw.
c. The ATM dials through the phone line, locates the customer’s account (virtually anywhere in the world), removes the money from their account, and then prepares to electronically transfer the funds to the bank account of choice for your business. Then, and only then, is the money dispensed.
d. During the day, transactions are stored in an “electronic batch”. At the end of each day, the total amount of cash withdrawn from the machine is electronically sent to the your bank. Your bank receives one electronic deposit per day.

Transaction revenue generated from your ATM is calculated and electronically deposited into your bank on a monthly basis. Your business receives a monthly statement reflecting detailed daily transaction totals and dollar amounts withdrawn.
